:)

Made my way to kembangan by train thn taxi to kaki bukit tech park. Got my mouse exchanged after waiting for 15 mins.

Headed onto tampiness mall to meet pris. Had subway for lunch. Caught up.

Came home. Tested e mouse. Now i know why this belkin miniwireless mouse is going for $49 instead of the original $79.90. Belkin switched supplier. The quality on this new batch is much lousier than the previous one i had. The edges were rough. i opened it up and i see a lousier quality board. Anyway, the reception of the new mouse sucked. It's a little dodgy. If this goes down, i guess i'll be switching to logitech.

Heard a news podcast on the H5N1 avian influenza. Just realised that this virus if gone full-blown, it would be terrible because no human has got anti-bodies against this virus which is mutating itself rapidly each and everyday.

A precedent case would be the H1N1 virus which caused a global influenza pandemic that killed over 20 million people in 1918. That was before commercial air travel, before globalisation. The H1N1 virus circumnavigated the global 3 times.

it is indeed scary. The current production for vaccines is estimated to be 300 million per annual globally. If there were to be a global pandemic, who will be the lucky 300 million to receive these vaccines (if scientists are able to produce them in time)? It's a scary thought.

Do a search on it if you're interested.
