8th August, Wednesday:
Bookout day!
Met Vanessa at Pasir Ris and we had dinner at Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe.
My BBQ Eel Ramen and her roasted Duck Ramen was good! The triple ice mountain was huge and we were quite disappointed when they swooped the real fruit cubes with jellies.
9th August, Thursday:
Happy 42nd National Day!
I'm uber happy because I'm having an extra long weekend due to National Day!
Lunch was at Miss Clarity Cafe along Thomson Road. The food was a tad disappointing in my opinion as my soup wasn't really appetising. Vanessa's Old MacDonald Farm was huge in portions but was a tad too salty to my likings. I would suggest others to visit their original outlet at 5 Purvis Street (The famous chef should be cooking there).

My sister joined us and we headed to Ice Kimo along Sin Ming road. Ice Kimo didn't disappoint us! Their Banana Coffee, Strawberry and Horlicks ice-cream, with waffles & brownies were uniquely savoured by 3 of us. Shiok!
NTUC Xtra, caught the NDP Parade at home. It was pretty good and refreshing to see the new stunts by the airforce, navy and coast guards.
I love spending quality time with my girlfriend. :)
10th August, Friday:
Bus"ed" to Golden Mile Food Centre via Bus No. 980.
91 Friend Kway Tiao is shiok, with the clams well-cooked, lots of vegetables and flavoursome kway tiao. Vanessa's Kheng Fatt Dry Beef Noodles were delicious too!
Got my stuff, had the Liege Waffles and the "caramel biscuit flavoured" a.k.a Speculoos ice-cream was nice!
We visited my sister at NTU, Hall 6, Blk 34! My 1st time in NTUs Hall. Her room's pretty big and decent. Travelling between AMK and NTU is no joke, an iPod/PSP/Magazine as companion is strongly recommended.
Dinner was at Fish & Co. Shiok man! Seafood platter for Two and a Patriot meal did a very good job in satisfying 3 famished ones.
