2000: The dinner commenced at a later-than-expected time. The OG mates were affable and cordial. Dinner consisted of a wide variety of western food. The highlights were the turkey, Shepard's pie, log cake, cookies, potato salad, mash potato and the pizza. Nice meeting up with the people whom each play a various part in my girl's varsity life.
24th December:
It was mundane work in the morning till 5 pm. I headed home after work then left the house feeling much refreshed after the bath with a backpack equipped with the necessary stuff. Sleepy yet cozy bus ride to Harbour Front. It was my first time at Mount Faber since a long time ago. We witness the "tower turned Christmas Tree" from Faber Point (highest point of the "Mountain") and the 3 sec fireworks. The view was quite spectacular and it was especially windy though. We took quite a couple of photos before retiring to a bench with a hill view. It was a nice view, both of us enjoying the quiet moments, the company, small talks, big jokes and a Christmas countdown together!
25th December:

0100: We bidded goodbye to Faber Point and walked all the way down because there was a snake-long jam on the one-way road; waiting for the bus wasn't a very wise choice then. The long and winding walk down was coupled with my chatty talks, running down the slope and a beautiful girl in hand. In the end, we walked all the way to Harbour Front MRT.
0330: Reached AMK S11 by cab. Fill our empty tummies with ba chor mee. Next destination was the playground below my house. She had tons of fun with the smoky sparkles and it was such a joy to behold the child in her, running around the playground like a kid. Enchanting.
0430: We retire ourselves to my room. While she was showering, I sneaked her present into her bag. Then when it was my to bathe, she did the same. My babe got down to wrapping my xmas presents for me while I was just surfing the net for quotes. Sweet. Chillout session with Hooch and Long Island Tea. ZZZ monster slowly sneaked into us and we succumbed to it, took a short nap. She had my cozy bed and I, the mattress. It wasn't so bad but maybe a blanket to help keep the cold away would had been useful.
1000: Breakfast was on the table when we woke up. She left for her auntie's place soon after breakfast. I was greeted by a message from her that I should check under my bed for a surprise. A surprise it was indeed. My Christmas Present was hiding below my bed in an isolated corner! My first! It was so absolutely very sweet of her. A glass box with an assortment of gifts. Way cools~! Thanks a lot dearie
1300 - 1600: I caught up on my sleep before heading down to Parkway Parade to meet her again. We were walking around when I saw something, a HK MP5 A4 dressed in CQB kit with an integrated torch and scope. I got it as a xmas present to myself. Hehe.

Well, mine's the toy replica with sound, a working safety catch, a built-in vibrator, the exact CQB torch switch but with a less powerful torch, a removable magazine cartridge and of course, a "Made in China" tag. Haha! It's damn fun to play with! Don't mess with my MP5!
1800: We then shopped for Shi Yun's present before heading down to East Coast Park. Walked a long stretch from Marine Cove to the Food Centre. It was a big Soon Family outing. We played Beach Ball and Frisbee. I witnessed the competitiveness of my baby, scary. However, it was way fun to have played games with a combination of people from all walks and ages. Dinner was filled with fried and BBQ-ed food. It was a looonnnggg Christmas day.
2200: Oh yea, when I came home and showed mummy my new gun, se played with it. She looked so funny holding and shooting the gun at my dad and sis. Ha! She likes it!
26th December:
1000: I had my sleep but was awoken by an SMS from Alexis informing me of a breakfast gathering with Benson, Chen Yang and her. Since when did they become morning people? I went down to Cafe Cartel at J8 with Alexis. Surprised to find Pei Ling working there. The food was alright but service was good. Ha!
1400: The guys went down to Golden Mile Complex to walk see walk see. The prawn noodles was shiok. Later on, we were at town doing speed shopping for Benson. After visiting numerous shops, we found a nice shirt for him.
1900: Came home and was greeted by a simple home cooked dinner. Nice.
It was a splendid Christmas, though I didn't do much Christmassy stuff but it was certainly the best one for now. :)
